What a page costs depends on the model you pick in the app — the range is wide, so the table below is worth a look. A search costs a tiny fraction of a credit.

What a page costs
Averages from real handwritten pages; a dense page costs more. You choose the model in the app under Settings, and can change it whenever you like.

Sonnet costs roughly 6× the default and Opus roughly 10×, so a month of credits that covers about 50 pages on Haiku covers only a handful on Opus. The app shows the cost next to each model. "Double-check transcriptions" (on by default) adds about 0.2 credits a page, and about one extra page's worth when the two readings disagree and the page is read again.
