Recall

Terms of service

Last updated September 17, 2026

These terms are between you and Yan Song, Kungsvägen 114A, 352 44 Växjö, Sweden ("we", "us"), and cover the Recall app, this website, and the connector atmcp.recall-notes.com. Using Recall means you accept them.

Your account

What you write stays yours

Your notes are yours. We claim no rights over them. We process them only to run the service: storing the encrypted files, transcribing pages you write, indexing them for search, and handing them to an AI app when you connect one. See the privacy pagefor exactly who sees what.

Credits, plans and payment

Using it sensibly

Don't use Recall to:

Storage limits apply per account (currently 2 GB and 10,000 notes) along with rate limits on transcription and sign-in attempts. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Availability

Recall runs on a single server and comes with no uptime promise. We back up nightly and keep encrypted off-site copies, but you should keep your own copies of anything you can't afford to lose — every note can be exported as a PDF from the app.

Transcription is imperfect

Handwriting recognition makes mistakes, and so do the models we use. Transcriptions, summaries and search results are best-effort, not a reliable record. Check anything that matters against your own handwriting, which we always keep as you drew it.

Ending the agreement

You can stop at any time: delete your account in the app or on the dashboard. That cancels any subscription and deletes your data. We can end or suspend service if you break these terms, or with 30 days' notice for any other reason — if we close the service, we'll give you time to export your notes.

Liability

Recall is provided as-is. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for lost notes, lost profits, or indirect damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it. Nothing here limits liability that can't be limited by law, including for death, personal injury, or fraud. If you're a consumer, your statutory rights stand regardless of these terms.

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of Sweden, and disputes go to its courts. If you're a consumer, you can also bring a claim where you live.

Changes

We'll email the address on your account before these terms change in a way that affects you. Continuing to use Recall after that means accepting the new version.
